Where to Grow Weed

A nice grow spot on south side of a hill - well hidden
This could be a nice place to have a couple of plants - well hidden on the south side of a hill.

There's a couple of important things you have to take into consideration when growing your weed outdoor.

Things to think about:

Hide the Weed

This is the one most important thing when you grow weed outside. You want to be sure you don't find them ripped by thieves and it would be a shame to get busted. So make sure that nobody will find the plants. Also when they get big and obvious you need them hidden.

Weed loves sun

You want to make sure you get as many hours of direct sunlight as possible. Make sure you have south free and as far to the sides as possible. A small hill or wall facing south is optimal since it will heat up during the day giving great conditions

Weed HATES hard wind

Make sure you don't have too much wind. Your plants can easily tilt over in hard wind and the leaves will crumble from the beating.

Access to Water

Even though you often don't have to worry much about watering you need to water in the beginning and later if it gets dry. Depending on the amount of plants you will keep you need ability to transport water and plant food for them. Some times you can find nice places near a lake, sump or other kind of wet area. If you find a nice place near this sometimes you don't have to water the plants more that one or two times in the beginning of the season. After this the roots will be deep enough down to reach the water. But keep an eye on it during dry seasons.
